
Annina Mosimann, 1991* in Berne, is a puppeteer, performer and visual artist. She studied visual arts at the HSLU Lucerne and Contemporary Puppetry at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts and works as a freelance artist and theatre maker.
Annina Mosimann’s work operates at the intersection of performing and visual arts and experimental music, with a focus on figures, objects, materials and the human body. Physicality, in-between spaces, the subconscious and the relationship between human beings and the things that surround us are central themes in her often bizarre, absurd and humorous performances.
Her works «Masa Mater» (2020), «Mycelium» (2021) and «Bestiarium» (2024) have been invited to numerous international festivals. Her latest production «Bestiarium», was selected for the Swiss Newcomer Performing Arts Award PREMIO 2024.
She also collaborates in various formations with theatre collectives in Switzerland, Germany and France. Collaborations include Nicole Mossoux, Julika Mayer, Elise Vigneron, Lutz Grossmann and Renaud Herbin.
